Introduction to Hydrodec

Hydrodec Group plc is a public company incorporated in England and admitted to trading on the AIM within the London Stock Exchange in December 2004 as HYR.

The company provides advanced oil and chemical process technology, products and services to industry. Evolved from extensive research and development, Hydrodec's advanced technology specialises in environmentally sustainable, small carbon footprint chemical processing and high performance oil refining, in a closed loop, de-minimus emission process.

Hydrodec's advanced oil refining process is revolutionising the manufacture and supply of valuable oils. For example, Hydrodec's process allows Transformer Oils to be re-refined an indefinite number of times into Superfine™ transformer oil, which has specifications equivalent to or better than that of new transformer oil. This allows the electricity industry to reduce its exclusive reliance on new oil supplies without having to make compromises in quality and performance.

The company owns patented and unique processes that enable 're-manufacture' of hazardous persistent organic chemical materials, wastes and by-products into valuable products. This breakthrough creates a paradigm shift in the sustainable management of many hazardous chemicals, both at the source of production and in the environment.

In time, Hydrodec will apply its advanced oil 're-refining' process to other valuable oils, for example hydraulic oils, eliminating onerous lifetime product stewardship liabilities and significantly reducing the need to refine new sources of crude oils.

Hydrodec's advanced chemical processing and oil refining technology is versatile, practically adaptable and cost competitive. Our qualified engineers are at the forefront of science and are continually adapting our unique problem solving technology to assist industry meet a variety of wide ranging agendas, including stringent environmental protocols such as those required by the Stockholm Convention.
